Langton Hill is a working arable farm with concessionary footpaths and wide meadow strips along field boundaries to encourage wildlife

 

The Old Cottage is only 2 minutes walk from Chambers Farm Wood, part of Lincolnshire’s ancient Limewoods, a mecca for walkers and bird watchers. Wildlife  you may see include, buzzards, barn owls, deer, badger and many species of butterfly, and wild flowers in Little Scrubbs Meadow (SSSI).

 

The nearest small town of Wragby is 3 miles away and has 2 cafes, 2 pubs (1 serving food), a Co-op, Newsagent, Take-Aways and an excellent butchers. Also a Library and Resource Centre  and a small swimming pool.

 

Lincoln (12miles) with its cobbled up-hill area, is home to one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Europe, historic castle, and famous Christmas Market.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Lincolnshire Wolds are only a few minutes drive – who says Lincolnshire is flat! The coast is within easy reach with blue flag beaches at Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea and the ‘bracing’ resort of Skegness.
